Vibration Training

 

Vibration training originates from the Russian space program, where it was succesfully utilised to improve bone density and reinforce the muscles of the cosmonauts.

Vibration training offers recruitment of virtually 100% of all muscle fibres in all of the muscle groups. This means that only 15 minutes will provide you with results comparable to those of a longer, more conventional workout.

Suitable for everybody from high performance athletes to those simply wishing to improve their general health and fitness levels.

Vibration training will :

  • enhance your metabolic rate resulting in increased fat burning.
  • help to reduce cellulite, loosen muscle tension and greatly improve the quality of the skin.
  • increase blood flow into even the smallest of blood vessels. This ensures that all cells are nourished and results in the removal of waste products at an increased rate.
  • improve co-ordination through stimulation of the musculature of the body. Reactions and sense of balance will improve also.
  • strengthen muscle tissue, resulting in an increased demand on all systems of the body, including the heart. This will lead to activation and improved effieciency of all systems of the body.
  • decrease tension and ensure improved flexibility through the warming of the tissues and the resultant reflexes of the tendons.
  • reduce stress and stimulate the production of certain hormones with positive effects on the sense of wellbeing and contentment. This type of training offers a more complete relaxation than after a conventional training session.

The Power-Plate can be utilised as a stand-alone 15 minute sesion or can be integrated into a full personal training programme.
